Something you should know about me

I am most often a dinner party host, a fishkeeper, a beach rat, a flâneuse, a glutton, a dancer, a delinquent daughter who forgets to call her mom; and sometimes, I am also a storyteller, essayist, editor, and art writer.

About my work, unique skills, and the types of environments I thrive in

As an editor, I am a fan of close reading and thorough, generous edits that allow a writer to connect better with their readers. As a writer, I often work across genre and am interested in how language can illuminate aspects of the human experience and art as a meaning-making tool.

Projects, people, and/or organizations I’ve worked with

I currently work with or have worked with organizations such as the National Performance Network, Sixty Inches from Center, Art Institute of Chicago, MCA Chicago, Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, Chicago Gallery News, and the Joan Mitchell Center.

Gigs and opportunities I'm open to

I am interested in working with artists to develop their statements and writing grant proposals. And I am also interested in working with writers or publications to develop and edit creative writing and experimental art writing.
